The Culling Closed Alpha has Begun

We've often said that those game shows where they strand people on a desert island to see what happens would be way more entertaining with weapons and traps in them. Xavient clearly agree with us as their upcoming title features just that. 

Taking a lot of inspiration from the classic Japanese horror film Battle Royale, the game is an island based brawler where the last person left alive is declared the winner. We showed off the trailer of the game not that long ago when the Alpha was announced, but now it's open and running. 

In The Culling, 16 contestants enter but only one makes it out alive. In tense 20 minute matches, players craft and scavenge weapons, build traps, and mercilessly hunt each other down. Completely focused on the battle royale experience, The Culling is an adrenaline-filled fight for survival that requires ingenuity, skill, and more than a little brutality. The full game is available on Steam Early Access from the 8th March, but Alpha players will be able to start playing right now as keys are currently winging their way out.
