Zorro The Chronicles: A Return to Gaming for the Original Masked Avenger

There's a new Zorro game in the works, and it's set for release this autumn. Zorro The Chronicles is a family-friendly action adventure game, in the vein of the Batman Arkham and Assassin's Creed series, based on the show of the same name.  It looks to bring a AAA open world experience—complete with exploration, playstyle freedom and unlockable skills—to a younger audience using the well-loved Zorro mythos as a basis. Set in the 19th century, Zorro The Chronicles sees Don Diego de la Vega (AKA: Zorro), returning to California after a five-year stint in Spain. He's outraged to find his hometown in a dire state: Captain Monasterio, an oppressive and greedy ruler, is crushing the town's innocent population under his iron boot. Not content to sit back and watch his kin suffer, Don Diego dons the legendary mask of Zorro and becomes "The Fox", the swashbuckling hero who has remained in the public consciousness for a century.

Zorro The Chronicles, the game, releases for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, PC, Mac and Google Stadia in autumn 2021.
