Zombie Party Just Left Early Access

Zombie Party is a retro themed game that the developer describes as an “Action-RPG Rogue-like rampage of fun and over-the-top action”. That’s a lot of description for a game, but there’s a lot of game from the description. The game sees you travelling through time and dimensions to destroy zombies.

Now out of Early Access and into full release, it’s a pixelated shooter that harks back to the arcade days of the genre with tough bosses, over 150 different fund and horses of enemies. A magic and crafting system, along with a levelling mechanic gives RPG elements, oh did we mention that you can shoot exploding teddy bears at zombies?

The game has earned a strong following throughout its time in Early Access, mainly due to the frenetic multiplayer mode. The released version of Zombie Party is set to expand on that with five more PvP modes due over the coming months post-release.
