Zombie action game Dead Island: Survivors out now on iOS and Android

Folks waiting for Dead Island 2 got an unusual surprise recently. No, it's not new news about the long-awaited sequel but instead a completely new game set in the Dead Island universe...for mobile devices.

That's right, Deep Silver FISHLABS just announced that Dead Island: Survivors is out now for iOS and Android devices. It blends tactical base building, trap-laying, and melee combat, as one would expect from a Dead Island game, just...smaller.

Created with true love for the genre, the content-rich title features a wealth of different heroes, zombies, weapons, traps, consumables, levels and missions. Fans of the previous Dead Island games will be delighted to discover all kinds of tie-ins, Easter eggs and references as they play.
