You Can Donate Blood for a Free Copy of Code Vein
Bandai Namco’s new action-RPG Code Vein is set to release very soon, and a strange marketing campaign is allowing fans to donate blood for a free copy of the game.
Fans will only be able to donate their blood at a designated spot in the US however, specifically 170 Sixth Ave in San Diego on the 27th September. Blood donations will run from 10am until 4pm, and donors will also receive a Promo Blood Pack along with their copy of the game. The event is in association with American Red Cross, and all blood donated will go to those in need, so it’s all for a good cause despite being a somewhat peculiar way to celebrate a game’s release.
In Code Vein, players control a vampiric revenant as they fight against enemies for control of blood. Blood in the universe of the game staves off insanity, which makes this specific event a little bit more logical in context.
Code Vein is set to release 27th September worldwide for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, so even those who can’t attend the event will be able to grab a copy for themselves on the same day.
