Yoshi amiibos destroyed

Love or hate the idea of Nintendos popular line of psuedo-DLC toys, the amiibos, the market speaks and people buy them so they keep getting made. Yet when these little plastic toys gain the value of the Holy Grail to some people, odd stories will inevitably occur around these objects. 

One such adventure is when a UK shipment of Splatoon amiibos were stolen. While that case was never solved, it seems another amiibo incident has happened in the gaming world. A shipment of Yoshi's Woolly World amiibos were allegedly destroyed according to sources.

No outlet has yet revealed any culprit or why these toys were destroyed. Hopefully this story will continue, and we will get to see the depths of insanity someone has to go through to obtain an amiibo just to destroy it.
