Yakuza 3, 4 and 5 Are Coming to Playstation 4

With the release of the remakes for the first and second Yakuza games releasing on PlayStation 4 (titled Yakuza Kiwami and Yakuza Kiwami 2), fans of the Japanese beat ’em up/semi-open world franchise have been eagerly awaiting the release of the other instalments on the platform. Thankfully, fans will soon be able to play every single mainline Yakuza game on PlayStation 4, with 3, 4 and 5 receiving remasters for the system.

Each title will be upscaled to 1080p with a 60FPS frame-rate, and will be available to download separately, or be purchasable together in a physical collection. Yakuza 3 is available to download right now, but fans will have to wait a little bit longer for the fourth and fifth instalments. Yakuza 4 will be available to download on 29th October, with Yakuza 5 releasing on 11th February 2020.

The physical copy of The Yakuza Remastered Collection will also be releasing on 11th February 2020, and will include two discs holding the three games. The collection will also (strangely) come with a PlayStation 3 case for Yakuza 5.

The most recent title to come from the minds behind the Yakuza franchise is Judgement, a game where players control a detective within the same universe that the Yakuza games take place. Judgement is available now exclusively on PlayStation 4.
