XSEED Games Unveils Gameplay Trailer for Time-Travel RPG Loop8: Summer of Gods

XSEED Games released a new gameplay trailer for the coming-of-age, time-travelling RPG, Loop8: Summer of Gods.  

Relive August 1983 over and over as Nini, a high school student who was raised on a failed space station and has returned to Earth to spend his summer in the Japanese town of Ashihara, a town that remains a haven from demonic entities known as Kegai. However, when the Kegai break through Ashihara’s protective barrier, you’ll team up with Nini’s classmates to fight the Kegai not once, but multiple times; Nini’s “Demon Sight” gift allows him to send August into a time loop, letting you change your actions until you defeat the Kegai once and for all. 

In Loop8: Summer of Gods your choices shape the fate of Ashihara. The game features an emotion-based AI system where the wills, desires, and relationships of characters drive their actions. Treat people as you choose and build the relationships you value, but those bonds will directly affect the game’s turn-based battle system. So, as you play, remember that the unique power of friendship will determine whether or not your team survives on the front line. 

Loop8: Summer of Gods releases in spring 2023 on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.
