Xbox Reveals Two Games for May's Games with Gold

Dust: An Elysian Tail and Saints Row: The Third will both be available for free to Xbox Live Gold members this month as part of the console's Games with Gold programme.

Each game will be available as a free download for approximately two weeks in May: Dust will be available from May 1-16, and Saints Row from May 16 until the end of the month. According to Microsoft, the games retail for around $14.99 USD and $19.99 USD respectively, and players will only be able to access them for free during these two-week periods. 

Dust is a 2D sidescroller from indie developer Humble Hearts, and follows the titular character Dust, his sentient sword the Blade of Ahrah and the sword's guardian Fidget as Dust travels the world of Falana trying to remember his past. Dust and his companions soon find themselves caught up in the aftermath of a genocide against a group called the Moonbloods, which is somehow linked to his past. The sidescroller features visuals that fall somewhere between anime and Disney, providing colorful backdrops of Falana and its anthropomorphic residents.

A near 180 from Dust, Saints Row: The Third is a critically-acclaimed over-the-top open world shooter by Volition. Players take on the role of the leader of the Third Street Saints, one of many gangs in the crime-ridden city of Steelport. After the events of Saints Row 2, the Saints have become international media icons, which quickly lands them in trouble with rival gangs, forcing them to fight to retake the city of Steelport. 

Both games will be available to players with an Xbox Live Gold membership on either the Xbox 360 or Xbox One.
