Xbox Reveals Its Plans for the Remainder of 2020
Despite COVID-19 bringing the majority of global events and plans to a grinding halt, the Xbox brand is looking to have a busy year with some ambitious plans.
These plans have been outlined on the official Xbox website, in a statement that reads;
“Starting with the May 7 episode of Inside Xbox, we will be showcasing what happens next in the world of Xbox, every month, which is why we’re calling it “Xbox 20/20.” These monthly moments will take place throughout the rest of the year and will be a way for us to engage, connect and celebrate with you about what’s in store for the next generation of gaming, including what’s next for Xbox Series X, Xbox Game Studios, Xbox Game Pass and Project xCloud. Every month will bring something different.”
The website post also states that the Xbox Series X is still slated for a 2020 release, along with the highly anticipated launch title Halo Infinite. What’s more is that the 15 Xbox Game Studios - including names such as Obsidian, Ninja Theory and Rare - are all underway with working on next-generation titles.
This is looking to be a busy year for Xbox, with consistent updates in the lead-up to the Xbox Series X launch this holiday.
