Xbox One Version of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Delayed Indefinitely

Make sure you cancel your pre-order for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 on Xbox One, as Activision had this to say:

“We want to inform you that we are revising our release plans for ASM2 on Xbox One, When and whether ASM2 is released on Xbox One is TBD.”

The reasons behind this delay/cancellation are unclear, also whether it is a decision made by Activision or Microsoft. With the rumoured backwards compatibility coming, Microsoft may be wanting to limit their costs with a non-AAA title.

The game will still be released for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Wii U, PC and 3DS on May 2nd in EU, April 29th NA. We will keep you updated whether the Xbox One title gets a release date.
