Xbox One S Release Date Revealed
The 2TB Xbox One S will be available starting on 2nd August 2016, Microsoft have announced. According to the press release, "All pre-orders will arrive on 2nd August". If you haven't pre-ordered yet, there is still time to do so.
Aside from being a great deal smaller than the original Xbox One, the S also comes with a few upgrades.
Beyond the fresh new design, Xbox One S is the first and only console that allows you to watch Blu-ray movies and stream video in stunning 4K Ultra HD with High Dynamic Range (HDR). You’ll get to enjoy your favourite shows and movies in the clearest, most realistic video possible. With HDR support for video and gaming, Xbox One games like Gears of War 4, Forza Horizon 3, and Scalebound will look even better thanks to a higher contrast ratio between lights and darks, bringing out the true visual depth of your favourite games.
The 2TB Xbox One S, which is currently available for pre-order at £349.99, also comes bundled with an upgraded version of the console's wireless controller. This features a textured grip, better wireless signal and additional Bluetooth support. You'll be able to buy the new controller separately for £49.99, also available on 2nd August 2016.

The price of controllers angers me... Madcatz can knock one together for half the price.
But hey, since the Xbone is no longer having any exclusives at all, I have no intention of ever getting one.

My controller drifts up on the right analogue stick but I haven't brought another since because they're so expensive.
