Xbox Japan Boss Resigns
The chief of Xbox in Japan, Takashi Sensui has resigned his post due to the abysmal sales that the Xbox One has seen in the country. The position is to be taken over by Takahasi Minami although Takashi Sensui will remain with the company, relocating to the US headquarters.
Microsoft has always struggled to move consoles in Japan but the Xbox One is faring considerably worse compared to when the Xbox 360 and original Xbox launched.
In total the Xbox One has sold 38,461 units in Japan and last the week the console only managed to shift 776 units.
The change in management might help the Xbox One in Japan start to match its fairly impressive sales seen in other global regions.

This isn't very surprising. The people in charge of Nintendo took a pay cut when the 3DS didn't sell as expected.
