Xbox Cloud Gaming Expanding in 2021

In a recent Xbox Wire update from Jerret West, Chief Marketing Officer at Xbox, we learnt about the proposed expansion of the Xbox Game Pass cloud gaming offering. As well as being introduced to new devices, the service will be made available in new countries all around in the world in the new year.

Starting from spring 2021, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will be able to access the Cloud gaming (beta) on their Windows PCs and iOS devices. Additionally, around the same time, a range of countries that were recently granted access to the Project xCloud preview program—Australia, Brazil, Japan and Mexico—will also be entitled to access cloud gaming as part of their Game Pass Ultimate subscriptions.

These announcements serve as further confirmation of Xbox's inclusive, cloud gaming-positive approach going into this new generation of consoles.
