Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase: Metaphor ReFantazio

Atlus, the developer behind video games like the Persona series, announced their latest title at the Xbox Showcase: Metaphor Re Fantazio. In true teaser fashion, we only got glimpses of animation mixed in with gameplay, but it looks to be another deeply involved RPG for fans to jump into. This is the full name for what was previously announced as Project Re Fantasy. Starting off with live-action footage, Atlus teases, "What if the world we live in today is their utopia?" With a UI reminiscent of Persona 5 Royal, Metaphor Re Fantazio looks to lean heavily on the storytelling style that Atlus is known for.

The Metaphor Re Fantazio release date will land in 2024, and the game will be available on Xbox Series X|S, as well as PC for those eager to jump into this new fantasy RPG from Atlus.
