Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase 2022: Diablo IV Trailers
At Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase, Blizzard Entertainment's Diablo IV showed off two new trailers. One of these introduced the final playable class, the Necromancer, with a beautiful cinematic trailer showing the class raising the dead and being shunned by the living as they combat dark forces.
The other trailer was a more traditional showcase of the gameplay by Diablo IV's developers. They displayed a variety of features, including character customisation, couch co-op, crossplay between Xbox and Windows, enemy strongholds that can be transformed into dungeons or friendly villages upon being defeated, a dedicated endgame, an open world with various local events occurring throughout that give the player a chance to engage in smaller stories, a live world where everyone can see each other, large bosses in the open world to take advantage of having so many players around, and a PVP area where the most successful players drop the best loot.
Diablo IV is set to release in 2023 on Windows, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
