World War Z Gains New Playable Class and Crossplay
Saber Interactive and Focus Home Interactive have announced the Dronemaster update for World War Z, the best-selling co-op shooter inspired by Paramount Pictures’ blockbuster film. The new update brings PvE Crossplay support for Windows, Xbox One and PlayStation 4, allowing all consoles to link up together.
World War Z has also released its first new playable class since it launched last year: the Dronemaster. This highly versatile character comes with its own personal drone which stuns zombies when they get too close for comfort. You can customize your drone in the perk tree to suit your play style, whether that be offensive or defensive. Finally, a new weapon was added to the roster; the ACW-20, a semi-automatic grenade launcher that is sure to make quick work of zombie hordes.
World War Z is available on Windows, Xbox One and PlayStation 4, with the Dronemaster update currently live and freely available.
