Update: World of Warcraft: Legion Release Date Leaked

UPDATE:

It has come to our attention that Blizzard generally put dates as a 'worst case scenario', at the end of the quarter which they believe it will be available. For instance, StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void was said to be due in April 2016, and yet is actually releasing next week.

ORIGINAL STORY:

A promotional image for Legion, the upcoming World of Warcraft expansion states that it will be released on or before the 21st of September 2016. The image was posted on Reddit, and has since been removed from Battle.net, which does seem to add some credibility to it.

The expansion will come with a level 100 character boost, as well as early access to the new Demon Hunter Hero class. According to the image, the standard edition will cost $49.99, whilst the Deluxe edition will cost $69.99.

Shell out for the Deluxe edition and you'll get an exclusive mount called the Illidari Felstalker mount and the Nibbles pet. You'll also be rewarded with items for Diablo 3, Heroes of the Storm and StarCraft 2.

It is yet to be confirmed by Blizzard, but it's likely to be announced at BlizzCon, which kicks off at 19:00 tonight. Make sure to check GameGrin for updates as they come.
