World of Warcraft Classic Receives Release Date

The long awaited World of Warcraft Classic which allows players to relive the early days of the most influential MMO of all time has finally received a 27th August release date. This version of World of Warcraft is available to all currently subscribed members at no additional cost, and currently active subscribers can also dip into the Classic mode early via in an invite only beta that’s currently available.

World of Warcraft Classic rebuilds the game as of its patch 1.12.0 update that released 22nd August, 2006, and includes fan favourite features such as PVP battles at Tarren Mill and 40-player raids on Molten Core. Several stress tests are currently planned to be released throughout the Summer prior to the August launch.
