World of Tanks VR Experience
World of Tanks is celebrating 100 years of tanks and that's certainly a special time for Wargaming, and of course, tank fans. With the celebrations ongoing for World of Tanks players with receiving and getting in-game rewards and special events, for those who are wanting to learn more about the history you can with a very special VR experience that allows you to see virtually inside the first tanks.
It's an opportunity to get close and personal with some of the oldest tanks in the world. You'll be able to learn the history of tanks and get an up-close look at the oldest surviving tank in the world, the British Mark I.
The new VR experience was created in partnership with The Tank Museum in Bovington and is joined by Richard "The Challenger" Cutland and Nicholas "Chieftain" Moran. The 360⁰ feature is compatible with your PC or smartphone/tablet, you just need YouTube mobile app, optionally you can use a VR headset like Google Cardboard for an even more immersive experience.
This is a very special on-going celebration and we'll be bringing more news and announcements for World of Tanks as the celebrations continue throughout September.
