Workshop Simulator Release Date
From House Flipper to PowerWash Simulator, we’ve seen an uptick of satisfying, mundane games that buck the trend of action-orientated adventures and stories about saving the world, or other overplayed tropes. Among them now is Workshop Simulator by the developers of Race to Mars, INTERMARUM, which claims to “Bring the Relaxing World of Restoration to PC.”
As noted on the Steam page, “Players will craft and restore vintage toys, tools, furniture and works of art using true-to-life tools and technical craft, while exploring a nostalgic tale of family history and days gone by.”
With such features as a detailed, authentic workshop, countless vintage items to build, repair and restore, and a heartwarming story to tie it all up, Workshop Simulator is shaping up to be the next game that may scratch an itch many people might not know they have.
“We’re inspired by the world of workshop creativity and expertise you can find online,” says Marcin Książek, Creative & Art Director at INTERMARUM. “There is a whole community of skilled craftspeople we enjoy watching breathe new life into beautiful old objects. (...) We can’t wait to see what players will create later this year!”
Workshop Simulator is set to release on PC for Windows platforms on 25 October 2021 and can be wishlisted on Steam right now.
