Windbound - Free DLC Pack 1 - What's New?

A free content update has hit Windbound, the watercraft-based open world survival-RPG adventure from 5 Lives Studios. Players on all platforms—PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and Stadia—will be able to download and play with the game's new features right now. What's New?

• Endless Mode - Titled "The Eternal Voyage", this optional mode introduces permadeath and prevents the game from finishing on Chapter 5.
• Photo Mode - A fully-featured photo mode, accessible from the pause menu, with filters, poses, accessories and more.
• Witch's Ensemble - Including a Witch Hat, increasing the effectiveness of potions; a Witch Outfit, letting a player respawn upon death (one-time use); and a Witch Staff, which is unbreakable and fires magic, enemy-seeking orbs.
• Additional Blessing Slots - Bought with Sea Shard currency.
• Gameplay Changes - Including enemy AI; land and sea combat actions; as well as boat damage and fall damage calculations.
• General Changes - New Game+ changed/fixed, tutorials tweaked and camera movement improved.

This is the first free content update for Windbound. According to the developer's roadmap (pictured above), one more is planned before the end of the year and another early next year.

The first free content update is out now for Windbound on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, Stadia and PC (via Steam, GOG and the Epic Games Store).
