Will Arcane Season 2 be the End of the Show?
Arcane is not only in full swing, but we are officially in the final week before the release of the third (and final) act of the season. What started three years ago in 2021 has blown up into an incredibly famous show that, truth be told, no one saw coming. But, with everything coming to its conclusion, you might be thinking: is this the end of Arcane?
The short and sweet of it is a resounding yes. The team has spoken extensively on the topic, and no matter how you spin it, Arcane is coming to an end after its second season. There have been several reasons shared; Christian Linke mentioned that the team has been working on this single project for nine years as one of the main factors. The keywords here, however, are "one of".
Arcane may be the end of the story of the Piltover and Zaun war that we are experiencing, but it might not be the end of the League of Legends show universe. The co-creator of the game, Mark Merril, shared on X that there are other stories to explore, and this has been a constant topic of discussion.
Cuz there are lots of other stories to tell

There are more stories to tell. With 169 champions out right now (the latest of which is Ambessa Medarda herself), it makes sense that the team — and Riot Games — would want to move into other characters. Arcane touches on 10 of the total roster, which makes it only but a small portion of the otherwise massive lore that surrounds its source material.
Arcane was always meant to have two seasons, but that doesn't mean it's the end of League of Legends. We might have the opportunity to see the story of other champions or the continuation and repercussions of what happens in Arcane, but one thing is clear as day: Arcane ends when the final act drops this weekend.
