Wii U To Receive Surge of Indie Games
The Wii U is going to get a library buff in the coming months, with 17 independent titles planned for release in the next two months and 50 more waiting in the wings.
In an interview with Siliconera Damon Baker, Senior Manager of Marketing at Nintendo's of America's Licensing department, said gamers can expect a large amount of Unity titles in the near future:
We have 17 (indie games) that are currently in the pipeline, that have been submitted. So they will all be out within the next two months. And then, we have another fifty that are waiting in the wings, that are coming; so we've got a lot of Unity content on the way.
Baker also said that Nintendo were considering supporting the Unity engine for use on the 3DS, but that there was nothing to announce at this time.
