When does Kingdom Come: Deliverance II Release?
The 2018 wonder developed by Warhorse Studios received a lot of love and praise for its unique approach to the open-world genre, a common tag added to many games at the time. With their hit Kingdom Come: Deliverance, they wanted to make a world that strayed from fantasy — a medieval simulator that tried to stick to historical accuracy.
Players take control of Henry from Skalitz, and the story unravels as you slowly live the life of a medieval villager. Learning sword fighting, using combos, changing weapons for different types of armour and situations... its unique nuance in the industry was stray from the over-saturated magical fantasy and explore something more down-to-earth, while still navigating medieval themes.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance found fans all across the world who played it throughout the years and slowly but surely accrued a following that earned it many accolades, love, and awards. Now, eight years after the release of the original, Warhorse Studios and Deep Silver are back with Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, a sequel and continuation of the story that began all those years ago.
Being one of the most-anticipated games of 2025, this follow-up title has over 100,000 followers at the time of writing and has already breached #18 on wishlists whilst still being #225 in top sellers. And as the release date draws ever-nearer, hype hasn't slowed down, as even the original title quadrupled in concurrent players the moment Kingdom Come: Deliverance II was announced.
So, when is it coming out? While at first we didn't know the official release date, and it was set to be a 2024 release at the time, it received delays until Warhorse Studios set their eyes on a 4th of February 2025 release date. You have until then to nab the pre-order bonus. If you want to learn more about the game, you can check out our everything you need to know article!
