The latest single-player RPG from Obsidian Entertainment reunites Fallout creators Tim Cain and Leonard Boyarsky to tell you a story about space capitalism.

In The Outer Worlds, you wake up after drifting in space for 70 years to find corporations have taken control of life in Halcyon and are hiding a dark secret that could destroy the colony, it’s up to you to save them, or you could not.

This new trailer teases that while you can play the hero and save the day, you could also just not and do anything else, like playing around with a shrink ray or doing up the garden.

Your choices matter on your journey, you will encounter many multi-faceted characters and factions and what you do determines not only the game’s narrative but even how your character progresses.

The Outer Worlds won best original game at E3 2019 and is currently shortlisted for the “Ultimate Game Of The Year” in the 2019 Golden Joystick Awards so if you haven’t visited yet you could be missing out.
