We May Well Know Mass Effect Andromeda's Release Date

While Mass Effect: Andromeda's release date is yet to be announced officially, we can pretty safely say that the game will launch on 21st March 2017. This news comes courtesy of the recently revealed Art of Mass Effect: Andromeda book from Dark Horse.

In the video above, the well informed YouTuber BioFan delves into a number of tidbits that point towards the 21st March 2017 release date. If you're just looking for the release date info, go ahead and skip to 7:15.

"March is the last month that Andromeda could release, according to the most recent EA investor reports", BioFan states. "Note that the EA quarter system is different and weird." 

"Amazon also lists the game being released in March", continues BioFan. "The date of the 31st is an Amazon placeholder date, but the month is not. The typical placeholder month for Amazon is December."

So March seems like a pretty safe bet, right? As BioFan proceeds to point out, games almost always release on a Tuesday (at least in North America). That leaves either 7th March, 14th March, 21st March or 28th March for Mass Effect: Andromeda's release date.

The confirming piece of evidence is Amazon's listing for The Art Of Mass Effect: Andromeda book. It's listed for a 21st March 2017 release, and the description states that "Dark Horse will release The Art Of Mass Effect: Andromeda simultaneously with the game!"

And so there's our likely release date. You can expect Mass Effect: Andromeda to release on 21st March 2016, unless the game is to be delayed.
