Watch the Official Date Reveal Trailer for Cosy Hike Title Fireside

The cosy hiking adventure Fireside developed by Emergo Entertainment and published by Nordcurrent Labs has officially received a release date in a brand-new trailer on the Nordcurrent Labs YouTube channel. We got a look at a few of the characters alongside the various consoles the adventure is coming to.

For the uninitiated, Fireside is a cosy point-and-click title where you'll experience an uplifting narrative. After a storm strands you on an island, you'll meet a cast of friendly characters, all of whom will need your help with a couple of errands. Your goal will be to help them all, cook for them, trade, and relax by the fireside — hence the name. Create new cooking recipes, trade with the villagers, and build your house as you befriend everyone and find your new home.

The trailer offers a sneak peek into the lovely island setting and the adorable characters you'll meet. It also showcases the gameplay mechanics, giving you a glimpse of the fun and challenges that await. This charming little adventure was previously slated for a 2024 release date, though it has now since been made narrower — if you're excited to delve into the adventure, Fireside will be making its way to PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store, and GOG, and the Nintendo Switch, on the 4th of June 2024.
