Watch_Dogs 2 Launches Without Seamless Multiplayer, with Genitals

As is usual with reviews posted up before a full release, something seems to have gone wrong with Watch_Dogs 2's multiplayer aspect since our sparkling review was written. Although it does state that there were issues at the time.

Ubisoft have posted to their Watch_Dogs 2 forum, explaining that the issues experienced by our reviewer were more far reaching than just her.

With this exciting launch period, we wanted to take some time and explain a situation we’re currently facing with the game that will affect your online gameplay experience. During the pre-launch phase of Watch Dogs 2, we were disappointed to discover an issue tied to the seamless multiplayer feature that caused the game to lag and crash periodically.

As a result, they have disabled the seamless multiplayer function.

To be clear, you can play the full single-player campaign normally. Additionally, co-op is still fully functional by inviting friends through the game menu. However, the Bounty-Hunter mode and other activities that would occur with other outside players who enter your game will be unavailable until the issue is resolved. We truly appreciate your patience during this time.

Unfortunately for Ubisoft, users have begun to question what they were thinking when it was discovered that some of the female models walking around San Francisco were found to have clearly visible vaginas, should you manage to see up their skirts.

One gamer took a screenshot and shared it to Twitter, resulting in them getting a warning from Sony, as the image would have simultaneously shared to the unmoderated Live from PlayStation, which allows all PS4 owners to see images and videos from other users related to each specific game.

In case you were wondering how Ubisoft snuck such content in the past the rating boards - they didn't. The ESRB rating clearly states full frontal nudity (emphasis ours).

The game contains some sexual material: a man selling child pornography over the phone (no sexual acts or nudity depicted); a strip club depicting pole dancers and topless women; brief instances of male and female full-frontal nudity (e.g., a woman in body paint; a man standing with a woman outdoors).

So, although you can't play with your friends, it seems you can still play with your bits. Just don't share it with others.
