Watch an Hour of Halo 5: Guardians Beta Gameplay

An hour long video of Halo 5: Guardians beta gameplay has been recently uploaded to YouTube by user Ready Up Live. The video was recorded back in November from the HaloFest event held in Los Angeles. 

Thankfully the video comes without any commentary besides the short introduction at the very start of the video. This way it is easier to get an idea of just how Halo 5: Guardians will sound on the Xbox one.

The maps that are shown in the video are Empire, Truth and Crossfire. The games modes are slayer and breakout. Fans disappointed by the SMG not making an appearance in Halo 4 will be pleased to see it used in this video. Player abilities such as thrusters are also shown off.

The Halo 5: Guardians beta is set to be released on December 29th and will run right through to January 18th. As of yet the only confirmed way to be granted access to the beta is by purchasing Halo: The Master Chief Collection, however other entry methods may become available closer to the launch of the beta.

Halo 5:Guardians is set to launch Autumn 2015 exclusive to Xbox One.
