Warner Bros Assure Arkham Knight PC Patch Might be in September
Despite claims that the patch would arrive in August, following their July update, after PC sales were suspended due to the abominable launch, Warner Bros. have instead posted an update on the state of said patch. Two months post-release.
We are happy to confirm that we are now putting the first interim patch into testing. If all goes well, we expect to issue the patch in the next few weeks.
Here is the list of what Rocksteady, Iron Galaxy and Warner Bros. Montreal (working with Nvidia and AMD) claim to have fixed:
• Reduced frame rate hitches
• Optimized system memory and VRAM usage
• Improved performance on all GPUs (requires the latest drivers)
o Min Spec AMD GPU is once again the Radeon HD 7870 2GB• More Robust In-Game Settings, including:
o Added the ability to change settings for Max FPS to 30/60/90
o Added toggles for Motion Blur, Chromatic Aberration, and Film Grain
o Added a “High” Texture Resolution value
o Added Texture Filtering option
o Added an Adaptive V-Sync option (NVIDIA only)
o Added VRAM Usage Meter
o Added Mouse Sensitivity Slider & Mouse Smoothing Option• Fixed low resolution texture bugs
• Fixed hitches when running on mechanical hard drives (HDD)
They also add that they are working on the following:
While our first priority is fixing the issues listed above, the team is continuing to work on the following:
• Skipping the boot up splash screens
• DLC/Season Pass content
• Additional updates such as Photo Mode
Photo mode was added to the console version a few weeks ago, and there have been two batches of DLC/Season Pass content released for PS4 and Xbox One.
We can't imagine PC gamers are very happy about how long this has taken thus far.

I have bought the game and it's not playable on my PC at all (and I have a pretty high spec PC)
Not over happy with how long it has taken, I didnt request a refund at the time, I wanted to give them a chance to fix the game.
By the time they have fixed it, I believe I would have lost interest in playing the game now.
Maybe they could/should give away free DLC to people who still have the PC and waiting for fixes?

If PC gamers don't get something free, I'll be very surprised. Also be interesting to see how Mad Max sells, as it's the next Warner Bros. game after this (PC launch failure) and Mortal Kombat X (a terrible PC launch).
