Warframe on PlayStation 5 Looks Crisp, Smooth and Seamless
Digital Extremes has confirmed that Warframe, its ever-evolving, sci-fi multiplayer shooter is coming to the next generation of consoles, complete with a line-up of next-gen improvements. Take a look at the crisp textures, snappy loading times and smooth framerates of the PlayStation 5 version in the trailer above.
So PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X owners will enjoy a faster, more responsive and prettier game, but what else is new for next-gen? PlayStation 5 owners will experience immersive feedback from the DualSense controller, including Haptic technology and adaptive trigger support. The PlayStation 5's "Activities" feature is also present and accounted for with Warframe, letting players track their achievement progress with "Progress Activities" and skip straight into action with "Challenge Activities".
To celebrate Warframe's release on the PlayStation 5, Digital Extremes is also releasing a new Warframe: PlayStation Plus Booster Pack, featuring a Syandana design inspired by the DualSense controller (in addition to an Experience Booster, in-game Currency Booster, Credits and Premium Credits).
Warframe is out now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Switch. It will release on next-gen "soon", with cross-gen and cross-save support confirmed between PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
