War Thunder 1.55 'Royal Armour' Released

Gaijin Entertainment has released the 1.55 update to War Thunder, the 'Royal Armour'. This patch introduces a new tank tree for the British, 9 new planes and two new North African locations to the game, among others.

While most of the new British tanks will be released step by step over the next few weeks, you can start off with the first few armoured vehicles in the British tree, or purchase one of the British tank packs and join the closed testing for the rest of the vehicles.

Of course, there are other things to explore while waiting for the release of the remainder of the British tanks, such as the new aircraft available in the respective trees, from the A7M2 and new variants of the Ki-44 and Ki-61 in the Japanese tree, to the MiG-17 in the Soviet tree and the Short Stirling in the British bomber tree. There are also new early planes for the Americans and the Germans, in the Ju 88 A-1 and the F3F biplane.
