War of the Vikings Release Trailer

Grab your axe get ready to pillage with War of the Vikings, the latest release by historical MMO developer Paradox Interactive.

 The spiritual sequel to War of the Roses, Paradox's latest game focuses on similar close quarters-style combat set in medieval Britain. Despite it's leanings towards hack-n-slash at first glance, War of the Vikings is built around a system of customizable skill-based gameplay, with the trailer quickly cutting away any visions of players winning via button (or keyboard, in this case) mashing. Players will also get a full range of customization for their characters including, of course, their majestic viking beard.

Players will be able to pick between Saxons and Vikings, and they'll pillage or defend Britain accordingly. War of the Viking's perks systems allows players to tailor their fighting style and test out their customizations in the game's Training Ground mode.
