War Breaks out in EVE Online

They say war never changes. Actually, war can and does change. It's a horrid thing whichever way you look at it, but from the early days of hitting each other with sharpened sticks, we've come a long way in how we argue with other humans in a violent manner. In EVE Online of course, war takes the form of blowing other ships out of the sky.

Right now in game, a huge intergalactic war has broken out. There are many names floating about for the conflict, but since the relatively new escalation the player community has yet to reach full consensus on whether it’s the Easter War, Northern War, World War Bee, the Mercenary Wars, or something else. Interestingly, it seems to depend on the player’s point of view of the hostilities as to what they should call it. The fracas is entirely player driven though, with no input from CCP other than a dev blog detailing the events that led to the conflict.
