Volition to Announce New Saints Row Title?

As well as an interesting guest list, Volition are hosting a quiz hour. Their entry states:

The developers behind the Saints Row franchise invite you to participate in a quiz show hour with Natalie Lander, the voice of Kinzie! At the end of the panel, we'll show you exclusive gameplay, art, and details for an upcoming project from Volition.

Of course, this has made one member of staff very excited to see what this project is. There are many different ways to phrase it, if it was any other game series. Although Lander has voiced characters in God of War III and Dissidia 012: Final Fantasy, those franchises are not owned by Volition or Deep Silver.

Volition's last entry in the series, Saints Row IV, was released in 2013 and Lander's character Kinzie Kensington played a very prominent role. As The President's eyes and ears in the real world, she had amongst the most lines in the game.

Joining Natalie Lander on stage will be Aubrey Norris [Brand Director, Deep Silver], Steve Jaros [Creative Director, Volition], Jim Boone [ Senior Producer, Volition] and Mike Watson [Community Manager, Volition].

Of course, in one mission in Saints Row IV, there is a brief moment of scripted "error code" saying "Dead Island x Saints Row Coming 2015". So it is possible this was an actual teaser for a crossover game. Unlikely, given there are already two Dead Island titles coming soon, but we have to entertain every possibility.
