Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. Arrives on Steam with a Slew of Updates

It's hard to believe that it's over 32 years since Virtua Fighter revolutionised the on-on-one fighting genre by adding an extra dimension. With the release of Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. on Steam, Sega is pulling out all the stops and including a whole host of bonus content, including:

• 30th Anniversary Soundtrack Collection including more than 200 unreleased tracks
• Exclusive Artbook containing sketches and other never-before-seen art from the original game’s pre-production
• 30th Anniversary Swimsuit Costume Set with beachwear outfits for all characters
• DLC Legendary Pack including customisation items, stages, character models and background music from the original Virtua Fighter
• Yakuza Series Collaboration Pack with character costumes, background music, and stamps
• 30th Anniversary in-game Rank Titles
• 30th Anniversary Wallpaper set

And, of course, all of this is in addition to the enhancements the game itself is getting. There's the addition of rollback netcode to make online matches smoother, 4K resoution at 60fps, and balance adjustments galore. It's out on Steam now, and Sega has added a 20% launch discount too.
