Verdun Digs A Trench Towards PS4

The popular First World War shooter, Verdun, is now available on PlayStation 4. Focusing on realism and historical accuracy, the game isn't for the squeamish as the trailer demonstrates. The game has been given a UI overhaul to make it better suited for the console as well as enhancing the controls for a better overall experience.

The game itself takes place on the western front between 1914 and 1918, inspired by the Battle of Verdun (which took place in 1916). Battles take place across 4 game modes; Frontlines, Attrition, Rifle Deathmatch and Squad Defense and incorporate many historical features such as realistic WW1 weaponry, uniforms and maps based on the real battlefields of France and Belgium.

Verdun is out now on PlayStation 4 with a 25% discount until the 30th September, it will also be coming to Xbox One later down the line. You can find out more about the game at the official site.
