Van Helsing: Final Cut Gets Slightly Delayed

Van Helsing: Final Cut Gets Slightly Delayed

Neocore Games have announced that they are delaying The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing: Final Cut, one day before it was due to launch. Final Cut is the definitive edition of the game, not only including the original trilogy, but a heap of improvements and additions. For gamers who already own the three episodes, the update will be available for free. And this is the reason for the delay. Neocore wanted to make sure that they were being inclusive to owners of the original trilogy no matter what, and to do so they will need a few more weeks.

The problem that they want to solve is a slightly strange one. For example, if you own the original Van Helsing game on Steam, but the two successors on GoG, it would be difficult for them to give you the free update that you have earned by already owning the trilogy. It's no longer an issue however, as Neocore Games have a solution.

Along the same lines, they did not want to exclude gamers who own say, the first two episodes, and decide to buy the third after the launch of Final Cut. Again, they have solved the problem, but just need a bit more time to implement it. It's an unprecedented move on their part, to work so hard to reward their players despite all of the variables, so fair play to them. Fans will surely be understanding that the delay is for a very noble cause. The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing: Final Cut will now launch on October 7th.
