Vampire: The Masquerade series gets a Battle Royale
Whilst the sequel to 2004’s Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines is still in the works, Developer’s Sharkmob have announced a Battle Royale variant on the cult classic vampire Action-RPG.
Separate from the upcoming Bloodlines 2 videogame, a cinematic teaser trailer containing pre-alpha footage was uploaded under the cover of night on Hallowe’en to a generally confused, disappointed, and lukewarm response from fans of the former tabletop game and original game.
The Sharkmob expands on the general gameplay on the website:
"Choose your playstyle, go solo or together, battling rivals and the hostile Entity who’s hellbent on exterminating all vampires. Use your supernatural powers, weapons and blood to become stronger in order to hunt, fight and survive the night."
It’s unspecified what platform the untitled Vampire: The Masquerade Battle Royale game will be available for; however, the title is scheduled for a late 2021 release.
