Vampire Survivors Unveils The Free Darkasso Update; Check Out The Trailer Here!

The developer behind Vampire Survivors, poncle, has released their secret new update on Friday 16th, which means it's available on all consoles (save for PlayStation). 

Any players who have wanted darker content will have a lot to look forward to in the Darkasso update. Along with nine new achievements for players to unlock, there is also a new room, feature, two new character skins, and even more secrets.

The new stage is called Room 1665, and this is a meat dimension which has been created by spiteful souls within the bone zone. This is a Challenge stage consisting of 16 rooms, which means you'll have to fight through all the floors to complete it.

Darkanas is the newest feature, and these are essentially arcanas, but dark. You'll be able to unlock five Darkanas in the Darkasso update, and much like arcanas, these modifiers can change the outcome of your run, so long as you know how to use them.

Of the two character skins, you'll be able to get Unblinded Imelda and Retired Poe. But as of right now, the secrets that poncle mentions? Well, those are secret.

If you want to try out the update, don't forget, it's available on all consoles except PlayStation now. Vampire Survivors will also be launching on PlayStations 4 and 5 on the 29th of August, and players will be able to jump into the new update immediately on that day.
