Valheim Reaches New Heights with 500k Concurrent Players

Iron Gate AB's surprise co-op survival hit Valheim has surpassed 500k concurrent players on Steam, placing it behind only a handful of titles for the most-played game of all-time on the platform. The only titles which boast higher concurrent player counts are Cyberpunk 2077, Dota 2, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS. 

Valheim rocketed into popularity since its release earlier this month, amassing over three million sales after just over two weeks in Early Access. The future, it's safe to say, looks bright for the game, and Iron Gate AB has already released a roadmap for the game's future in the rest of 2021. Check it out below.
