[Update] The Division Is Teasing It's Next Update

Update #2:

The Division keep those teases coming and now we have a date to look forward to, Wednesday 30th.

Though we don't know for sure what this reveal will be there is a lot of interesting bits of information to take into account. As first noted, the update will focus on the factions of The Division but what is exciting is that they will be working together now as shown in theses tweets.

First the Rioters, then the Rikers and now the Cleaners and LMB working together? This is big news and hopefully will see a big announcement being made. Once more the new header image on the official Twitter page shows three agents standing in front of a statue that many have said looks to be again, in Central Park. So again the theories of a possible map expansion are on the table. 

Could it be update 1.8? Could it be the next Global Event? We just don't know right now but with the tease over and the reveal close all eyes are on The Division.

As you can see it seems the Rikers are now part of the party with the twitter account icon changing once again to their faction icon. Though the above ideas about the map expansion still stand it seems that the focus won't just be on the Rioters. I'm starting to get the feeling that something big is coming to Tom Clancy's The Division.

Not long after the release of update 1.7 it seems that Tom Clancy’s The Division is already teasing it's next update and possible first expansion of year 2. 

The teaser comes in the form of a series of tweets on the offical account for the game along with some updates banners that give a set of coordinates. Eagle eyed Reddit users have found that the two sets of coordinates that have been posted reference in game mission locations along with real world locations close to Central Park. As you might recall the last map expansion gave us new locations in the Dark Zone that took us close, but not into, Central Park. It is therefore possible that what is being teased here might very well be the next big map expansion that sees players travel further north into the huge park area. 

Now only that but the account icon for the profile has been changed to a set of knuckledusters. In Tom Clancy's The Division there are a number of factions, each with their own icon that represents them. As you might have guessed the knuckledusters reference the Rioters, one of the first factions you encounter in the game. With that in mind, look at these two tweets...

Sounds a lot like Rioters doesn't it or maybe it could be another party who have had to deal with the Rioters. At this point, we just don't know but when you take the data and think about it in relation to other updates a Rioter themed adventure to Central Park seems very possible. That said it would be nice as well if they could allow us to return to Brooklyn. You might recall that in one of the early trailers for the game Brooklyn even had a Dark Zone. Now that would be something.
