Unity Now On PlayStation Mobile

Sony has announced that Unity for PlayStation Mobile has come online and is optimized for the creation of PSM content for PlayStation Vita and shiney new toy announced at E3, the PlayStation TV.

The official version of the engine removes the need for extensive re-coding, allowing developers to easily port their games created for iPhone, iPad, and Android devices to launch on PlayStation Mobile. This will open up the PS Vita to a broader range of devs and will fuel an expansion of the gaming lineup for both the PS Vita and PS TV.

The developer portal for PSM has details on how to sign up for the program which allows developers to distribute their content easily through PlayStation Store to PSM in 32 countries worldwide.
