Uncover New Mysteries in Secrets of the Obscure, Guild War Expansion Announcement Trailer

Now that the Dragon Saga has concluded, the world of Tyria is immediately in danger from a new threat. Guild Wars 2: Secrets of the Obscure is the fourth expansion for the long-running MMORPG and introduces a new threat from the sky.

The announcement trailer shows the mysterious tower located in Kessex Hills vanishing, leading to devastation as we head into the clouds to uncover some of Tyria's biggest secrets! The expansion is set to include two new explorable maps as well as a new hub area along with the Heart of the Obscure, a mystical stone that will be the key to exploring the new expansion.

Guild Wars 2: Secrets of the Obscure is set for release on 22nd August 2023 on PC for £21.99 and includes a bundle of items: an Eagle Eye Weapon Chest, an Arcane Spellweaver's Hat, a special Demon Hunter character title, a shared inventory slot, and a level 80 character boost.

A Deluxe Edition, priced at £43.99, comes with the standard items as well as these exclusives: an Astral Ward Feathered Raptor mount skin, a Magic Juggle emote, an additional character slot, and an Identity Repair Kit. An Ultimate Edition, priced at £64.99, which contains all the above plus 4,000 Gems, Guild Wars 2's premium in-game store currency, is also available.
