Ubisoft Forward 2023: Assassin's Creed Mirage

Tonight at the Ubisoft Forward Showcase, we got to see two new trailers for Assassin's Creed Mirage.

The first trailer we see is the story trailer, which introduces us to the latest protagonists in the franchise. We learn of the Feathers of the Heron that were once dipped into the blood of their targets. 

You can join the Brotherhood once more and serve as a Messenger of Justice. After we saw the story trailer, we got to glimpse some of Assassin's Creed Mirage's gameplay. 

From what we can see of Mirage's gameplay, it's like the old days. You assassinate an opponent from above and then quickly escape from your pursuers. You can do parkour by jumping across the beams to ensure your safety.

We join Basim on one of his missions and discuss your latest mission and target. After discussing your target, you can see how to purchase and unlock new weapons like the blowdart.

You can view your contracts on the contract board and select the one that interests you most. Each one will get you some kind of reward. Use the Heron to see further away and find your targets. 

Dive into flowers and act as you normally would to ensure your targets aren't suspicious, and use your surroundings to the best of your ability. You can use the blowdart to tranquilise your enemies and use them to lure your other targets. Or, you can distract them with a smoke bomb.

Ensure the sky is safe, survey the area clearly with your Heron, then travel to your target. It's about finding the right vantage point, and when you do, you can successfully commit the assassination of your target and ensure you have no witnesses.

Assassin's Creed Mirage will be available on the 12th of October and will be available on PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox one, Xbox X|S, and Windows.
