Ubisoft Break Download Record with Grow Home
Two million copies of Ubisoft's Grow Home were downloaded in its first week, thanks to Sony's Vote to Play program, making it the fastest downloaded game in the company's history on PlayStation.
The open world adventure tasks players with exploring a land full of floating islands, majestic caves and waterfalls set in a beautiful and minimalist art style. You play as BUD (Botanical Utility Droid), an excitable child-like robot sent on a mission to search the galaxy for a new species of plant that can save his home-world which is running out of oxygen.
Although it's been available on the PC since February, Grow Home made it's debut on PlayStation 1st September as part of the free games in this month's line up. PlayStation Plus subscribers can download the game for free right now as well as receiving a 30% discount on the two runners-up in the poll.
