Ubisoft Address Assassin's Creed: Unity Problems
Ubisoft are addressing problems some players have been experiencing with Assassin's Creed: Unity via a live blog on their website.
Assassin's Creed: Unity launches today in Europe, but after its release in North America earlier this week, players, particularly those playing on PC, began to report a number of significant bugs with the game. This was made more unusual after Ubisoft didn't lift embargoes until after the game had already been released.
Ubisoft have already released a Day One patch which fixes a number of issues and they continue to work on many more reported by the community.
Here's what they had to say:
"We are currently working on our next update that will help address some of the specific issues some players are having, including:
- Arno falling through the ground.
- Game crashing when joining a co-op session.
- Arno getting caught inside of hay carts.
- Delay in reaching the main menu screen at game start.
In addition, we are already looking into many of the other issues you’ve told us about and we have more updates planned. This list doesn’t capture everything, but here are the most widely-reported problems we’ve heard about from you":
- Frame rate issues.
- Graphical and collision issues.
- Matchmaking co-op issues.
- Helix Credits issues.
More details should be released in the coming days, if you want to keep track of all the updates Ubisoft are rolling out, you can track their live blog here
