Twitch Streamer Swatted to Audience of 60k Viewers
The popular Runescape and Clash of Clans streamer, Koopatroopa787 was swatted in-front of an audience of 60,000 viewers.
During a stream, SWAT team members were allocated to the streamers house in Minnesota after being prank-called, his 10-year-old brother opened the door, this lead to the point where Joshua Peters left the stream for 15 minutes, to have 10 SWAT team members pointing guns at both himself and his brother to which he returned and talked directly to those who partook in the prank. Saying:
"I see you posting my address. I had police point a gun at my little brothers because of you,"
"They could have been shot, they could have died because you chose to SWAT my stream.
"I don't give a s*** about what you have against me, or what I did to you. For that, I am at a loss for words. Your gripe is with me so let it be with me and do not involve my family in any way, shape or form with this. They don't deserve that."
He told ABC News that he is currently working with the authorities to track down and find the culprit of the prank. He also Tweeted:
"Got swatted during my stream. 10 cops pointed guns at my 10 year old brother when he answered the door. I'm shaking with frustration.."
