Trials of Mana's Latest Gameplay Trailer Shows Off the Rebuilt 90s Classic
The latest gameplay trailer for Trials of Mana shows the 90's JRPG classic fully rebuilt with real-time combat, 3D exploration, full voice-acting and more. Check out the trailer above.
JRPGs can all too often fall back on tired gameplay and story tropes; while Trials of Mana isn't necessarily innocent of this (it's a 90s JRPG after all), it does make an attempt to 'shuffle the deck' so to speak. Players must choose three party members, out of six potential candidates for their adventure. The choice of party will affect the path of the story and perhaps lead to different ultimate outcomes.
More traditionally, party members can also be levelled up and taught "over 300" different abilities for use in the game's real-time combat system.
Trials of Mana releases 24th April for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and PC.
